You Make Me Smile With My Heart ❤️️

Hey lovers and friends, Valentine's Day is just shy of 2 weeks away and  whether you're a couple or a single, i'm sure you've seen that romance is in the air! Or at least that the heart shaped candy has been restocked for another year at drug stores and grocery stores. 

This year, like many others, Tim and I have opted for a relaxing night at home. We'll order in some food (probably pizza) and watch movies on the couch with our other valentine Goose! For those that don't know who Goose is, he's our soon to be 4 year old, rescue dog that we adopted in May of last year. 

So since I'll just be staying home this year my outfit will consist of sweat pants and a comfy shirt, but, that doesn't mean I'm gonna miss out on the opportunity to dress up like it's Valentine's Day to the days leading up! 

In this look I went with a wrap velvet, floral print dress I got on sale from Suzy Shier. Now a floral dress alone doesn't scream hearts and love to me so I had to add the unbreakable duo of red and pink! This pink beret is decked out in tiny pearls which went perfectly with the faux leather blush pink jacket! The red Mary Janes added the perfect touch of red that complemented the red lip which tied the whole look together!
