How to: 3 Ways to Incorporate Yellow into your Look this Summer

  Bold, Bright & Solid

If you're anything like me then you're bright and bold and willing to take most if not all fashion risks. Yellow to me is one of the most beautiful and most fun colours to wear. I especially love to wear it in the summer because it compliments the fresh blooms and hot sunny days so well. I found this gorgeous off the shoulder, ruffled, buttery dress from Forever 21 Red at Place D'Orleans. I paired this lovely dress with these flat studded block heels from Hudsons bay for a bit of an edgier look. For something more flirty, i would pair it with a floral print flat or heel.

     In a Pattern

If you're not feeling so adventurous but still want to incorporate it into your wardrobe, why not try a pattern? I love this stripped dress from Hudsons Bay because it's so versatile and simple to throw on and away you go along with your day. The navy and yellow go so well together and i threw on a suede moto jacket for a more "cool chick" vibe. You can also try yellow polka dots, or a yellow floral. You can dress this down with a long knit cardigan and some flats or on its own with a simple sandal.

Accessorize It

My final tip into how to incorporate yellow into your everyday looks is with accessories. I think everyone should have a good pair of yellow shoes and a yellow purse. I'm telling you right now, it goes with EVERYTHING. You could pair it with a simple white t-shirt-blue denim combo, an LBD or a fun sundress. I suggest going for something a bold and in a solid print so you can style it with any pattern or print. I styled this gorgeous bag from Callitspring, and these great block heels from Hudsons Bay with an a-line flowy navy and orange stripped skirt from Winners and an off the shoulder navy blouse from Suzy Shier.

There you have it, three ways to wear yellow in your everyday life!
